The purchaser must first secure a non-encumbrance certificate for the property they wish to purchase from the Macedonia First Instance Court. The seller on his part should secure a copy of the Properties Title Deed, as well as the registration of real property from the Macedonia Department of Cadastre. Macedonian law stipulates that a lawyer is the only person enabled to prepare the "contract of sale" which is signed by both parties, both parties agreeing on the terms and conditions.
